Hello! We are your Black Forest Candle Co family, comprised of Trista, Robert, Sage, and Mango. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story. The idea of making our own candles started with Trista's love of candles and Robert's love of Trista! As an engineer, Robert said, "I could make those!" It then grew into something that we could both share with others!

We are a married couple from the small town of Ashtabula, Ohio who spend most of our time hiking and exploring with our two pups, Sage (Siberian Husky) and Mango (Pembroke Welsh Corgi). We make all of our products out of the comfort of our home, with our two pups by our feet the entire time.

Trista is a licensed mental health counselor, working in the Northeast Ohio area, and Robert is a Millwork Engineer. Black Forest Candle Co started as something we did on the side, but today it has grown into a much bigger part of our lives and we are so happy to be able to share our love of good smells with you. Every product you purchase from us means EVEN MORE treats for Sage and Mango, so they personally want to thank each and every one of you!
